New Dental Patients Virginia Beach
Welcoming New Patients Who Are Ready to Smile Brightly
We can’t wait to welcome you in and help you feel right at home from the very first appointment with Dr. Morgan! Check out the important information below to learn more about what to expect as a new dental patient at Hampton Roads Center for Cosmetic Dentistry, and don’t hesitate to call us directly if you have any questions or concerns.
Your First Visit
You can expect your first visit with us to last about an hour or an hour and a half; this time commitment allows Dr. Morgan to get a thorough grasp of your smile’s situation and fully understand your smile goals. Trust us – this time will pass quickly and you won’t leave until you’re confident about how we can help.
After we’ve taken a full set of digital X-rays and intraoral photographs, we’ll discuss your health and dental history and review any concerns you might have. We’ll complete your checkup with a comprehensive oral exam including a periodontal health analysis, tooth-by-tooth inspection, oral cancer screening, and an assessment of your bite (occlusion) to check for signs of TMJ dysfunction. Our team is the best at what we do, so if there’s anything that needs to be addressed promptly, we’ll see that it’s handled.
Dr. Morgan will review all of the information we gathered, and you will be encouraged to become an active participant in your treatment planning! Please ask questions and share your thoughts as we create a custom dental plan that makes you feel confident and comfortable. Before you leave the office, we’ll schedule your next appointment, either for hygiene, treatment, or for your next checkup.
